Inner Dao

It is impossible to find your true self if you are clinging to your false shadow self. It is rare to meet a person that is really ready to surrender the egoic persona and their narrative to do the real work. You may say you’re ready to heal and awaken, but when it comes time to do the real work you resist. Of course ,this is the false self afraid to die, fighting for its survival. You don’t understand the power of our subconscious mind. You have an intention but go right back on autopilot.

Note: It is often those that have serious trauma that are ready, because the Subconscious Mind is shocked and is trying to reset to its true nature. If they don’t act soon the Subconscious Mind will go back to its unnatural programming. They often insist on staying in their intellectual mind and holding on to what society has taught them about reality, God, and themselves. They can’t see they are living in a projection of themselves.

We all live in a projection and clinging to it is what keeps us from our true nature. It’s easy to spend years and years going in circles fooling and deluding yourself. This of course is the root of all their suffering. It’s simple. Buddha’s and the ancient master’s words fall on deaf ears. When the masters say you have to surrender and let go of everything you know and do to find your true self they mean exactly that. This is the art of reversal as the indigenous and Daoist masters teach. When it is time to go within and link with source and awaken your true self this is complete stillness and surrender. All movement is shut down except your breath. Don’t worry that when your eyes open again and your start walking and talking your spirit leaves your body and your shadow self returns. This is going to happen over and over again until you reach permanent enlightenment and become a living Buddha. The art of returning is like learning to play the violin. When put it down the music is over. Learning to play the violin takes years of dedication. The same is true for the alchemy of the Human Body. Like the violin, it is a fine instrument. An instrument for connecting to Universe and awakening the True Self.
